My Professor Locked the Door — Episode 2: Close the Door

Episode 2 stages its heat in two locations. First the bar, where Jessica reclaims her card with a warning that he has never seen her, and misses the emerald earring under the stool; Max pockets it. Then Monday at Ravenhall: she walks to the front of the hall as Professor Jessica Grey, economics, and his twin theory dies on the spot. She bends over his desk handing out papers, close enough that the rival beside him clocks a look he has never given her. 'Eyes on the board.'

The tip-over is her office. She swore she doesn't know him, yet she watched him the whole hour, so he shows up at her door. 'Last chance to walk away.' 'Close the door.' He lays the earring on her desk and waits to be thrown out. How far it goes: nowhere yet, on purpose. The episode cuts on his hand on the handle, and the handle not moving. Locked.
