My Professor Locked the Door — Episode 5: Out in the Open

The Episode 5 finale swaps the bedroom for a meeting room, and the stakes are her career. The setup: Max drops everything to wait outside. Inside, Whitlock pushes the bar photos across the table and asks her to explain. She doesn't flinch: 'There's nothing to explain. I resign, effective today.' Walking out, she hands Max one instruction, her office, five minutes.

Then the hallway beat: the rival stops him with a coffee offer, gets a flat no, and watches him leave with her phone in hand, the message that started everything still on her screen. The tip-over is in the office, where Jessica is packing a box. 'Leave it open.' She quit so she would never have to lock that door again. How far it goes: one kiss, door wide open, nothing hidden. The closing shot belongs to a dark-haired professor walking by and someone who might have seen it all, smiling: 'Interesting.'
